This is a great article that I found in the Wall Street Journal. I’ve highlighted some parts of the article and posted them below in bold italics. I really believe in combining eastern and western medicine. Most people call it “alternative” which I don’t understand why. Years ago most people never knew the benefits of green tea, acai or even raw chocolate. I view herbs and cordyceps the same way I do when I drink green tea. They are nutritional supplements to complement my health regiment. For example, the reason I take a multi-vitamin is that it acts as a safety net in case you missed out on a vital nutrient in your busy schedule. I know sometimes I forget to eat enough green veggies on a busy Monday. If you’re interested in adding cordyceps to your diet and more about preventive medicine you can reach me at email@example.com. I am a distributor of pharmaceutical grade Nu Skin brand cordyceps. NuSkin is a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange, and a global direct selling company that develops and distributes personal care products and nutritional supplements that are sold worldwide under the Nu Skin and Pharmanex brands and a small number of other products and services.
The most expensive item right now are cordyceps, a caterpillar fungus imported from Tibet that is good for the liver and kidneys and overall health. The price: $1,000 an ounce.
Mrs. Su works at Gouverneur Healthcare Services on the Lower East Side. She’s a medical doctor, an internist. “I believe in the combination of the two,” she said of Eastern and Western medicine. “I believe acupuncture and herbal medicine and Western medicine” complement each other.
Today I found an interesting article in the huffinton post about cordyceps as one the top cancer fighting mushrooms being used today. Lately, I’ve been doing a lot of reading and research about the health benefits of cordyceps, and have found numerous research articles supporting the health benefits. You can find a small excerpt from the huffington posts article along w/ the link to the full article below. If you’re interested in buying a supply of cordyceps email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
